Planning Your Winter Garden

Believe it or not, August is the time to start planning your winter garden! In Sacramento, we’re blessed with mild, wet winters, perfect for growing a ton of delicious vegetables for you and your family. In this class you will learn about cool season crops, fall and winter garden tasks, and how to ensure your garden is productive throughout the fall and winter months. Leave class with a winter garden plan and some cool season seedlings to get your garden started.

Note: Class will be held at Soil Born Farms American River Ranch, 2140 Chase Dr. in Rancho Cordova
