Wednesday, May 28 2014, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Join us and explore cooking tips and health strategies to make meals that are both nourishing and delicious. In this class, we'll focus on diabetes, a chronic disease that is often preventable with healthy nutrition and exercise. We will discuss key concepts to balance blood sugar and maximizing nutrition while indulging in a delicious menu: a super smoothie; wild salmon cakes with avocado salsa; beef and asparagus stir-fry; springtime slaw, and a seasonal berry dessert.

Instructors: Dr. Antonella Aguilera-Ruiz and Terese Esperas

$35, $25 Co-op owners
