Fermented foods aid in digestion and support the immune system. We will discuss the basic techniques for fermenting a wide variety of fresh foods and how to cultivate wild and natural yeasts to start the process. Students will make their own fermented creations from seasonal vegetables and herbs. We will also make healthy summer beverages full of probiotics.
