Based on the premise that food is medicine, this series explores cooking through a wellness lens. Our dynamic doctor and chef duo will share cooking tips and health strategies for making meals that are both nourishing and delicious. In this first class, we'll discuss key techniques for maintaining cardiovascular health. Conventional medicine is not the only treatment, and heart disease can be prevented if you assess your risks and make changes today. Start on a new path to good health as you savor this heart-healthy menu: carrot ginger bisque; spinach salad with almonds and dates; salmon en papillote with winter kale pesto; roasted cauliflower with parsley and lemon, and dark chocolate mousse.
