Indian Street Food
Thursday, March 13 2014, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Join Shankari for a tour of the street carts of her youth, where she says “there was nothing like standing next to a stall, enjoying the music—and drooling—while you wait impatiently for your turn.” This stop on our street food journey includes three of Shankari’s favorites: Mumbai pav bhaji—spicy slow-cooked veggies served with pillowy buttered yeasty buns; crispy onion pakoras—the perfect snack on a rainy day, and paneer tikka—tasty spiced and grilled paneer on a skewer. Spicy nut mix, sweet lassis, and plenty of Shankari’s stories will round out the evening!

Instructor: Shankari Easwaran
