Originating in Naples, Italy, calzones are half-moon shaped stuffed pizzas, filled with cheese, meats, vegetables and other treasures for tasty pies to share or enjoy yourself. Lucia will lead us first in preparing the dough from scratch, then we’ll make a variety of calzones: one stuffed with mushrooms and spinach; a fresh mozzarella, Italian sausage and roasted pepper calzone, and an Italian meatball calzone.
