Sweet, succulent Dungeness crab is a much anticipated and celebrated local delicacy and a “Best Choice” according to the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch program. Chef Dio whips up some of his favorite dishes that celebrate this gift from the sea: warm crab dip; Singapore garlic chili crab; crab cake po'boy with remoulade sauce on crusty bread; San Francisco-style cioppino, and coconut curry crab.
