There is no question that there are a lot of problems with meat production in our country, but is it possible to overcome those problems without swearing off the stuff completely? American Meat is a pro-farmer look at chicken, hog and cattle production in America. It looks both at the industrial feedlot system as well as alternative models based on rotational grazing and local distribution. Join us for an evening considering the omnivore’s dilemma: whether it’s possible to choose to eat meat AND be an environmentalist, and whether a healthy lifestyle can or should include the consumption of animal products.
