Essential Spices: Ginger and Cardamom

Ginger and cardamom are some of the world’s oldest and most popular spices—lending warm, fresh spiciness to sweet and savory dishes. Join Shankari for this special class dedicated to these two powerful and versatile ingredients that originated in her homeland. Our menu includes: ginger cake with cardamom cream; glazed carrots with cardamom and ginger; green pea and paneer curry; vegetable pulao and a zingy lemony drink with dried ginger and cardamom.
