Jill & Julia: Croissant Workshop

According to Julia Child, the most delicious of French croissants are those made with a risen yeast-milk-and-flour dough that is rolled, slathered with butter and folded to create flaky layers of pastry.  In this class we will make three varieties of croissants for students to take home and bake;  plain,  chocolate, and ham and gruyere cheese.  After shaping croissants, we will snack on flaky plain croissants with jam, enjoy velvety scrambled eggs with chicken maple sausage and sip on European hot chocolate.
