Families in the Kitchen
Friday, February 08 2013, 3:30pm - 6:00pm

Cooking as a family is one of the best ways to connect with your children, teach them valuable life skills and put them on the path to good health. But getting the kids involved can seem a little daunting! Join Shankari as she shares some of her favorite recipes and techniques for sharing time and tasks in the kitchen. We’ll prepare our menu together and then enjoy what we’ve made:

  • rice pilaf with veggies
  • chicken tortilla soup
  • mini turkey meatballs
  • apple crisp for dessert.

Instructor: Shankari Easwaran
