Kids & Teens summer cooking camp - Session 1

Session 1

An identical session of Kids and Teens Summer Cooking Camp is available August 6-10.

$300, $250 Co-op owners

 Ages 9-15.

Our Summer Cooking Camp is a great activity for young people who love to cook! Each day’s menu will focus on a different cuisine from around the world. We’ll create meals using the freshest ingredients, emphasizing essential skills and techniques and working as a team.

We’ll also take a break from the kitchen each day and incorporate ways to make fitness fun, with activities led by local experts to complement the food and culture of the day.
Each session is identical, and limited to 18 students.

Monday: Ready, Set, Grill!
Menu: BBQ chicken, grilled veggies, green bean and cherry tomato salad, summer berry shortcakes
Fitness Break: Hip Hop

Tuesday: Wok & Roll
Menu: pot stickers, chicken & veggie stir fry, pineapple fried brown rice, fortune cookies
Fitness Break: Yoga

Wednesday: A Taste of Aloha
Menu: kalua pork, macaroni salad, crunchy island salad, tropical fruit sorbet
Fitness Break: Hula

Thursday: Arriba! Mexican Feast
Menu: sizzling fajitas with homemade tortillas, roasted tomatillo salsa, grilled corn on the cob with lime and queso fresco, Mexican brownies
Fitness Break: Salsa Dancing

Friday: Italian Feast
Menu: organic pepperoni and mozzarella calzones, cherry tomato and mini-mozzarella ball skewers with fresh herbs, pesto bow tie pasta salad, fresh fruit tiramisu
Graduation Party: Parents are invited to celebrate and enjoy dessert

Cancellation Policy: Please call if you are unable to attend. Fee is non-refundable and classes are nontransferable with less than a 48-hour cancellation notice. We reserve the right to cancel classes with enrollment of eight students or less.
