Preserving the Harvest: Stone Fruit
Saturday, August 13 2011, 10:00am - 12:30pm

If you can’t help but go crazy when beautiful stone fruits are on display at the market, small batch canning is a great technique to add to your repertoire. You can whip up something fabulous without spending hours in the kitchen, and you can be free to experiment with a variety of fruits and flavors. Janet will equip you with the technical knowledge and some delicious recipes to make your own preserves, including mixed stone fruit jam and peach-lavender jam.
