Homemade Bitters and Mixers for Handcrafted Cocktails
Saturday, August 23 2014, 10:00am - 12:30pm

A cocktail renaissance is sweeping the nation, inspiring bartenders and home mixologists alike. Join Janet to celebrate Midtown Cocktail Week, and create some essential ingredients for classic cocktails. We’ll make orange bitters, a homemade tonic, tipsy cherries and basil syrup for a non-alcoholic blackberry cocktail. Take home samples of what you make in class, along with recipes and mixing suggestions for how to use them.

Instructor: Janet McDonald, The Good Stuff

$45, $35 Co-op owners

Note: This is a hands-on cooking class with a vegetarian menu. Students must be 21 and over.
