Ballot pamphlets for this year's Co-op election were mailed last week. It includes the actual ballot for Board candidates, as well as two important Bylaw measures recommended by the Board of Directors designed to increase member democracy and save costs for the Co-op.
Because they are in a different format, we want to make you are aware that the actual ballot is enclosed in the new brochure. In addition, we inadvertently did not include mention in the brochure that the Bylaw amendments recommended by the Board need a 2/3 majority to pass, and that at least 2% or 100 members, whichever is less, return ballots.
Please vote in this year's election by returning your ballot to the store or mailing it soon. If you have not received a ballot, please request another at the Customer Service Desk in the store.
