To dry citrus peel
- Remove peel from the fruit.
- Cut the peel into small pieces and spread it on a cookie sheet.
- Place it in the oven on the lowest setting until the peels dry, but be careful not to let them burn.
- Store dry peels in a jar with a lid and use in teas.
To make tea
- Add 2 c. water and peel from one orange to a pot and put the lid on.
- Bring water to a boil and turn off the heat.
- Let steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain out the peel, re-heat and enjoy.
