Massive conventionally- raised beef recalls earlier this year and Michael Pollan’s reports on factory-farmed meat in The Omnivore’s Dilemma have raised many concerns about beef. If you choose to eat meat, we want you to feel confident that the meat you purchase at the Co-op is safe to eat and was raised in a sustainable and humane manner.
